Shipping policy

All orders are processed within 1 to 2 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) after receiving your order confirmation email. You will receive another notification when your order has shipped. Whenever possible, we process orders on the same day they are received. 

*During this holiday season more people are shopping online and shipping volumes at every carrier are off the charts! Due to this increase in demand, everyone is asking for patience in advance.

Local Pickup and Delivery

Local delivery is available for orders over $20 within 20 miles of our workshop in Spring Hill, TN. For orders under $20, we charge $5 for local delivery.

In an effort to be more friendly to the environment, deliveries are made twice a week. We will contact you via email or text message with the phone number you provided at checkout to notify you on the day of our arrival.

In-person pickup

 

We are working to provide a local pickup solution, but without a brick and mortar location, we haven't come up with a solution just yet. Sign up for our mailing list and we'll let you know as soon as we have a 

 

International Shipping

We offer international shipping to the following countries: [list of countries]. 

At this time, we do not ship to African countries and South America due to shipping challenges with candles melting during transit. 

Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout. 

Your order may be subject to import duties and taxes (including VAT), which are incurred once a shipment reaches your destination country. Almost Makes Scents is not responsible for these charges if they are applied and are your responsibility as the customer.

How do I check the status of my order?

When your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification from us which will include a tracking number you can use to check its status. Please allow 48 hours for the tracking information to become available. 

If you haven’t received your order within 5 days of receiving your shipping confirmation email, please contact us at AlmostMakesScents@gmail.com with your name and order number, and we will look into it for you.

Shipping to P.O. boxes

The USPS is our primary delivery service and we are able to deliver to PO Boxes!

Refunds, returns, and exchanges

We want you to be completely satisfied with your candle order and we won't be happy until you are happy. If you have a problem with your candle for any reason, please contact us right away at Hello@almostmakesscents.com so we can create a solution. We accept returns up to 30 days after delivery, if the item is unused and in its original condition, and we will refund the full order amount minus the shipping costs for the return.

In the event that your order arrives damaged in any way, please email us as soon as possible at Hello@almostmakesscents.com with your order number and a photo of the item’s condition. We address these on a case-by-case basis to find a satisfactory solution.
